ASIS International (ASIS) is the preeminent organization for security professionals, with more than 37,000 members worldwide. Founded in 1955, ASIS is dedicated to increasing the effectiveness and productivity of security professionals by developing educational programs and materials that address broad security interests, such as the ASIS Annual Seminar and Exhibits, as well as specific security topics. ASIS also advocates the role and value of the security management profession to business, the media, government entities, and the public. By providing members and the security community with access to a full range of programs and services, and by publishing the industry’s number one magazine—Security Management—ASIS leads the way for advanced and improved security performance.

CISSP Korea Chapter is the not-for-profit organization formed in Jul, 2005 to gather & share the knowledge and discuss information security issues to raise the level of information security in the local community. CISSP Korea Chapter, a member of (ISC)² ALIG in Korea, is focusing on networking and collaborative study with local information professionals and aim to extend to global communication for enhancing the position of CISSP and information security.

The International Centre for Missing and Exploited Children (ICMEC) is the leading global service agency working to protect the world’s children from exploitation and abduction.

ICMEC

  • Works to combat child abduction and child sexual exploitation globally;
  • Provides training and assistance to law enforcement, legal professionals, NGOs, and governments;
  • Advocates for model legislation to protect children;
  • Promotes the creation of national centers based on a public-private partnership model; and
  • Leads a global financial coalition to eradicate commercial child pornography.

ICMEC Singapore, which is in its first year of operations, is working with ICMEC to:

  • build a financial coalition in the Asia-Pacific region to fight child sexual exploitation, modelled after the successful Financial Coalition Against Child Pornography (FCACP), created by ICMEC and the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children;
  • enlist regional partners to promote ICMEC’s model legislation on child pornography; and
  • establish a network of contacts, educating potential partners about ICMEC and learning about them.
To achieve the above objectives, ICMEC Singapore is:
  • working alongside the financial industry and law enforcement to combat commercial child sexual exploitation;
  • suggesting legislative changes in laws, treaties, and systems to protect children in the region;
  • attending regional training and conferences, to encourage and increase cooperation and collaboration between and among countries;
  • helping develop resources on a country-by-country basis to find missing children and prevent child sexual exploitation; and
  • promoting ICMEC’s Global Missing Children’s Network to countries which might opt to participate.

The International Multilateral Partnership Against Cyber Threats (IMPACT) is the world’s first comprehensive global partnership against cyber threats. As an international not-for-profit alliance, IMPACT is a politically neutral platform, bringing together governments, academia and industry experts to enhance the global community’s capacity to prevent, defend against and respond to cyber threats.
